Cabbage Soup Recipe Diet

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 6 green onions
  • 2 cans of diced tomatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 green pepper
  • 10oz container of sliced mushrooms
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 12 cups water
  • Salt and pepper
Chop the green onions and cook them over medium-high heat in a skillet coated with cooking spray. Chop all of the vegetables and add them to the pan. Saute until just softened. Fill a large soup pot with the water and bring to a boil. Add all of the ingredients and the sauteed vegetables. Simmer on low until all ingredients are combined and all the vegetables are soft. Add salt and pepper to taste.
