5. Coffee Can Protect Against Liver Cancer


Coffee has been linked to preventing various types of cancer, and one of the strongest links established is between regular coffee drinking and the prevention of liver cancer. A Japanese study showed that people who drank coffee were significantly less likely to develop liver cancer than people who rarely or never drank it. The reason for this effect was inconclusive in the study, but the results showed that people who increased their intake of coffee to 3-4 cups a day were much less likely at risk of developing liver cancer than for those who didn’t.
